DEW Line Main Station Power Upgrade |
Switchgear and hot back up computer controls for four 400 KW diesel engine/generator sets. Equipment includes 5 KV generator paralleling switchgear, step down
transformers, and load voltage distribution switchgear. The computer system provides continuous monitoring of the power plant for engine sequencing and load control.
Each engine is monitored for low oil pressure, water temperature, fuel flow, etc. as well as automatic daily report transmission of selected data to central reporting station in
Colorado.
